We think that Xero invoicing is a no brainer.
All of our clients are on Xero but not everyone has a business plan. A Xero business plan allows you to send invoices to clients and get paid faster.
Xero invoicing gives you a professional invoice that you’ll struggle to recreate in Word or Excel. You are able to design your own templates including your logo, business details and GST number. You are able to use a different layout depending on the type or customer or service you might be offering. It’s super flexible. You can invoice in any language you like so its perfect for small exporters.
A really great feature is the ability to accept credit or debit card features. Customers just click the payment link on your invoices and make direct payment using their credit card or PayPal.
Better still, invoices can be emailed direct from Xero to the customer. Online invoices allow the customer to see the bill electronically. If they also use Xero, they can upload your invoice directly into their software. There’s no need to print or scan.
If you have simple inventory, you can add stock numbers and descriptions so that you can standardise the way you invoice your stock.
Recurring invoices are really easy. You can set up a recurring invoice in Xero and every month it will produce an invoice to your customer on the due date without you having to remember.
Reporting is great. You can see from your dashboard who owes you money and which customers are overdue. You can produce statements at the click of a mouse – or the push of a finger on a tablet.
An Aged Receivables report (a list of who owes you aged by month) can be pulled at any time. That way you’ll know your position and be able to chase anyone who hasn’t got round to paying you.
Upgrading is surprisingly affordable. Just a low monthly fee can save you a lot of hassle. We are able to help you set up invoices if you already use Xero. Of course if you don’t have a Xero account, we can set that up for you as well.
